Dance International Magazine
Published by the Vancouver Ballet Society, Dance International Magazine was established in 1976 and was originally published under the name VANDANCE. The magazine has continued to evolve and in 1993 the organization changed the magazine’s name to Dance International to reflect its wider dance coverage. In its 35 year history, Dance International has grown from a community based magazine to a globally respected publication.
The vision of Dance International is to bring strong editorial, excellent photography and enticing design four times a year. It focuses on classical and contemporary dance worldwide. This quarterly dance magazine reflects the need for dance coverage without borders and includes features on dancers, artistic directors, choreographers and photographers, critical commentaries, and reviews from all over the world. The magazine strives to celebrate the beauty of dance and the excellence of editorial commentary.
