MASTER CLASSES

Stephana Arnold graduated from Canada’s National Ballet School. She danced with the National Ballet of Canada for several years before joining Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal in 1996 and quickly rose through the ranks to First Soloist. With her dynamism and dramatic stage presence, she danced a wide and eclectic variety of Principal and Soloist roles in Concerto Barocco, Nutcracker, Giselle, Pillar of Fire, and Symphony of Songs, to name a few. She has worked with James Kudelka, Eduoard Lock, Jiri Kylian, Ohad Naharin, Shawn Hounsell, Kevin O’Day, and many others. 

2003 brought her to Ballet British Columbia where she danced Principal roles in works from Mark Godden, John Alleyne, Twyla Tharp and Jean Grand-Maitre, to name a few. She began teaching at Ballet BC in 2004.  

Stephana is an award-winning Ballet and Contemporary Choreographer, and former Resident Choreographer for CatchingArt Contemporary Ballet Theatre. She is a Senior Teacher at Pro Arte Centre as well as a Guest Teaching Artist, Adjudicator and Professional Dance Coach.
