The first Spring Seminar took place on March 27, 1975, conducted by Frank Bourman, Ballet Master of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. At that time, it was a series of 10 days of classes.

On March 24th, we had a master class led by Anisa Tejpar, Associate Producer and Creative Assistant with Guillaume Côté’s new company Côté Danse. Ten young dancers had the opportunity to learn from her expertise and be greatly inspired.

Deborah Hess and Jon Ole Olstad were the mentors of fifty-seven dancers in classical and contemporary styles for a week. Twelve scholarships were awarded to eleven commited students.

From December 7th to 11th, our team sold ballet-themed merchandise at The Centre For Performing Arts and promoted our organization during the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s performances of Nutcracker. Thank you for everyone who supported. All proceeds went towards our mission of supporting BC’s dance community and the awarding of scholarships and bursaries.
