The first Spring Seminar took place on March 27, 1975, conducted by Frank Bourman, Ballet Master of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. At that time, it was a series of 10 days of classes.
On March 24th, we had a master class led by Anisa Tejpar, Associate Producer and Creative Assistant with Guillaume Côté’s new company Côté Danse. Ten young dancers had the opportunity to learn from her expertise and be greatly inspired.
Deborah Hess and Jon Ole Olstad were the mentors of fifty-seven dancers in classical and contemporary styles for a week. Twelve scholarships were awarded to eleven commited students.
